In the Community.
Dallas County Juvenile Department Gang Prevention & Intervention
The ultimate goal of this endeavor is to assist youth in their preparation to lead more healthy, happy, safe, and productive lives in ways that meet their needs and the needs and aspirations of their community. Succinctly, we envision the following outcomes for those referred by the Dallas County Juvenile Department.
Those youth and young adults who have been in prior difficulty with the law through this Vision Regeneration gang intervention and prevention initiative shall declare and demonstrate prosocial behaviors. The primary goal is for them to have no further law infractions or incursions into the justice system in this or any other community.
CYD - After School Program
Involves identifying high-risk youth (ages 10 to 14) and providing focused services to help them avoid a pattern of increasing antisocial behavior. The goal is to reduce the likelihood that these youth will become involved in serious delinquency and gang activity.
Vision Regeneration In-School Program
The goal of our In-School program is to assist the youth with making the right decisions that will lead to their overall success.
