Welcome to Vision Regeneration.

Today's youth culture is tempted by the game; that unspoken system that defines today’s popular cultural context. The diversion is the virtual fantasy played out in the movies, the music, and the entertainment we subscribe to. We attempt to live by the rules that suggest the fantasy life enhanced by drugs, sex and negative cultural icons is more credible than adventure that challenges flawed systems and creates sustainable heroes. The game has created a vast cleft between the right ones and the wrong ones, young and old, and of course the church and the un-churched. Truth, love and worship are absent from this game and without these virtues we wipe out the power of faith.

Vision Regeneration creates systems to effectively lead young people out of this matrix in order to produce sustainable change in our youth culture. We believe that truth, love and worship are the real tools needed to navigate in the maze of life; the truth about who you are, the love of those things which bring greater contexts of truths to light, and the submission to God as our ultimate source of authority and power. Dynamically, as a result, youth culture will change. Vision is committed to finding new solutions to address our young people and quality heroes and heroines that will raise the standard of civility while competitively engaging our young.

August 6, 2010	Vision Regeneration is mourning the loss of one of our best soldiers, Mr. Keith Carter. Over the past two years, he has worked in various capacities, most memorably as our Transportation Coordinator. This morning, Friday, August 6th, Mr. Carter went home to be with the Lord. Mr. Carter was a great asset to our organization and a trusted friend. He will be greatly missed. Our hearts grieve with his family, May God's love and peace be with you all, Love, The Vision Family

+	Successful negotiation of the first gang truce in Dallas between the “Crips” and “Bloods” in 2000.
+	Operation of 1 of 5 nationally recognized Violence-Free Zone Initiatives in conjunction with Dallas Independent School District (DISD).
+	Creation of Time Zone Recreational Club to provide youth with positive entertainment activities and images.
+	Development of the first Community-based Gang Intervention for the Dallas Housing Authority
+	Creation of the Benefits & Consequences Training Program for former gang members and youths in the juvenile justice system.
+	Participation in the Safer Dallas Campaign.
+	Recipient of the “Key” to the city of Dallas..
+	Invitation to participate in the White House Summit on Faith Based Initiatives in Violence Prevention.
+	White House award for Achievement Against the Odds.

As human beings we all want to be happy and free from misery.
We have learned that the key to happiness is inner peace.
The greatest obstacles to inner peace are disturbing emotions such as anger and attachment, fear and suspicion, while love and compassion, a sense of universal responsibility are the sources of peace and happiness.
